The first step I took on day 1 of NaNoWriMo was to take the phrases I created to describe the potential scenes and turn them into complete sentences. For example:
Phrase: Bandonn orphaned as a child
Complete sentence: In this flashback of Bandonn as a little boy in the burg where he grew up, The Grey attack and he becomes an orphan.
The phrases were written in Preptober so I can’t use them in my word count; however, I wrote the complete sentences on November 1st, so I can use those.
And that’s the simple first step in my NaNoWriMo project.
Here’s a review of them:
Step 1: Write one complete sentence summarizing each scene
Step 2: Turn each sentence into a five sentence paragraph.
Step 3: Turn each paragraph into five paragraphs.
Step 4: Turn the five paragraphs into a narrative
In the first two days of NaNoWriMo, I completed steps one and two. Today I start step three.
