It’s October 31st. Yes, yes, it’s Halloween. But it’s also the last day of Preptober. I’ve been prepping for NaNoWriMo this past month. But, really, I did it all in the first few days. I’ve been working on my other WIP, Oblivion’s Hope. My determination to get that novel done is why I haven’t been blogging. But, I’m taking a break from Oblivion’s Hope to do National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo). My goal for NaNoWriMo 2022: get a working draft for not one, but two episodes of my Consortium series. I can do it. I’m ready.
Another goal of mine is to document this year’s NaNoWriMo with this blog. I’ll be giving updates regularly, every day I hope. I’ll talk about my method I’m using to compose the two episodes. And I’ll give word count updates.
If you’re doing NaNoWriMo this year, I wish you the best. Even if you’re not, I wish you the best in your writing endeavors, whatever they may be.
NaNoWriMo starts at midnight . . .
