Past: Library of Souls (ebook) by Ranson Riggs
Library of Souls is the third installment of Riggs’s Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. I have to admit, when I started the first book, I was expecting something different. By the end of the first book, I was really into it. All three books–Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, Hollow City, and Library of Souls–make a complete story. I am experiencing the bittersweetness of finishing the last book in a series and the sadness of missing the characters
Present: Iron Gold (audio) by Pierce Brown
I am half way through this fourth installment of Brown’s Red Rising series. I’m finding the four different viewpoint characters refreshing. I recommend the audio, because the narrators are excellent.
Present: Last Dragon Standing (ebook) by Rachel Aaron
Just started this last installment of Aaron’s Heartstriker Series, the first of which is Nice Dragons Finish Last. Aaron really knocked me out with her Eli Monpress books, and I’m equally enjoying this series. Besides the great covers, Heartstriker’s has a myriad of great characters, most of them related, most of them dragons/humans. Looking forward to seeing how Aaron wraps this series up.
