Spooky Reads for a Spooky Season

If you liked Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, you will like this true crime story. Set in the neighborhood of Old Louisville, one Victorian mansion has a sordid history. Author David Domine follows the murder investigation and trial of two men who lived in this house and the murder that occurred there in 2009. I enjoyed this book because every page contained people I know or know of, places I’ve been to and events I’ve followed over the years. Domine reminded me what an interesting city Louisville, Kentucky is. And this book is a great read for the Halloween season. One caveat: this tale is not for the faint of heart.
